24 thursday ALOC Unveils New "Art With A Heart" Partnership BERLIN, MD.The Art League of Ocean City is launching a new partnership - "Art With A Heart" - to help raise needed funds for area non-profit agencies.The next "Art With A Heart" fundraiser will be held at Seacrets, 49th Street and the bay on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 6 - 9 PM. This free event will feature an art show and sale of original art work in various mediums by accomplished local artists. A portion of the proceeds from this art sale will be donated to Diakonia, a West Ocean City homeless shelter. The remaining proceeds will go to the ALOC for it's building fund and many art programs. Last year's show at Seacrets featured over 50 artists showing 200 works of art. Over 400 people attended the event making it the largest indoor, fine art exhibit in Ocean City history. This year, live music and artist demonstrations will accompany the show and there will be "Happy Hour" prices on food and drink.
